So effectively what your saying is that you misinterpreted my post, then added a different argument and criticized the thread because it didn't fit into your interpretation.
It doesn't take a genius to comprehend that this thread (like most) takes a simple view of a huge subject. To be honest, I don't have the time to write a thesis on these subjects, nor do I want to read one.
I can understand how investors interested in capital growth, view $15 billion as small change vs. the income it produces for the government.
But for others it is wasted money, spent to fuel a bubble and create false hope for first home buyers (Taking my example of a house in point cook).
