Looking at the supply of burnt first home owners in mortgage stress wanting to pull the chute in point cook, i'd say the prices would have dropped a lot more than 6%.

These taxpayer dollars have vanished into thin air on a small number of transactions. So not even the vendors have captured even a tiny percentage of the tax dollars wasted.
At least in point cook there has been a lot of new houses built so it did support the building industry.
