An onshore well in Tanzania will cost 40 Million Dollars. Talk of "10 Million plus or minus a few quid" is plain ignorance.
Even in Kenya it is only recently that well costs for AOI/Tullow have come down to the region of 25 Million Dollars.

Please guys, if you do not have accurate information on any issue, do not mislead others.

"Exploration is, however, still undergoing in onshore and offshore blocks across the country. "It takes about US 40 million dollars (about 64bn/-) to drill one onshore exploration well while for offshore well it is about US 120 million dollars (about 192bn/-)," TPDC's Board of Directors Chairman, Michael Mwanda told journalists at the news conference."
