Good post well done, you make an excellent points re the assets that AOE might gain should they get their hands on PES and selling a portion of those assets back across to Shell.

By this method, Shell would effectively be refunding AOE giving AOE the scope to bid higher knowing down the track that they (AOE) will get ~30% of the purchase price of PES refunded by Shell. Of course all this is very hush hush until AOE completes the T/O of PES.
