    I agree - it is totally up to the individual and their priorities.

    I personally think that he went too hard but that is just me.

    The thing is that he is a worker and a saver and that is who he is. He recently took his family away for a longish o/s holiday and then straight back into harness. One of the motivating issues for him is to bring up his son with his mum 100% present.

    He doesn't complain at all about the hours he used to work or works now.

    It is about choices and priorities, I agree that if you make the choices in the past you really can't cry foul when the rest of the world zooms past you.
