Come out of the dark ages guys - wives more than pay their way, both emotionally and financially. Otherwise why would you all keep getting married ????
In the super equation don't forget to allow for the periodic bear market - we were due to retire this year (at 55) having salary sac for many years but now need to work another year to make up for the last 12 months. Salary sac has still been the right financial path for us - we have saved so much in tax.
