They can only announce something when there is something to announce, provide company updates or company quarterly reports.
I am obviously not involved in the negotiations but if I was then I certainly would not be telegraphing the companies position via social media and weakening the companies position. The directors of the company are employed by the shareholders to act in the best interests of the shareholders. If you believe they are not fulfilling their duties then write to them explaining why and feel free to raise it at the next shareholders meeting. The company is not obliged to announce anything until there is something to announce. End of story. It is no doubt just as frustrating for the company and the management and directors.
I am interested though Taz as to what you expect them to be doing other than what they are?
