Our cat is 21 years old and also half feral , rarely comes in the house , it use to catch small rabbits and rats but now gets feed twice a day on cheap cat biscuits and the occasional food scraps ,
She use to be able to climb vertically 4 meters up the the side of the house up to 3 years ago and get on the roof and get birds out of the roof gutter which seems unbelievable until you see the claw marks on the veranda poles.
Still has a reasonabl glossy thick coat of hair with gray streaks , and teeth look like that of a 5 year old cat , does have a slightly hunched back now when walking and have not seen it do a proper run for a bird for probably 3 years . Occasionally goes off her food for a day or two but then she is back at the door with her paw hitting the door glass .
Only been to the vet twice in 21 years once for a shave of knotted hair and once because she was off her food for 3 days but found nothing wrong .
Keep thinking each winter will be her last but she shrugs it off , must have great genetics has never had kittens as nutered .
