Magnis is now on every EV/renewables producer's front burner, period. That Tesla signed with them means they are Tier 1 vetted and their value should now be seen that light. As the days go on here, we will likely see more offtake agreements from competitors.
If Tesla dumps them for being a week late on the agreement (which they won't, Tesla will just want to renegotiate terms or instill a penalty), there will be a very long line of others to replace Tesla.
Why? Magnis has the #2 deposit of known graphite in the world. They will have little problem at this point gaining financing; the only question is how much dilution? can they pull off convertible debt? etc
