Existing management might be incompetent but that does not make Sol an angel.I still think he is angling for a take over and the number one rule of takeovers is to talk down the target and its management. If MYR was such a basket case why would he be holding 10% of it now? He is not holding MYR for philanthropic reasons.
I know folks who have dealt with his companies and and some of the words that have been shared about their experience with them include cut-throat, ruthless and take-no-prisoners.
