My personal and SMSF holing of gold and silver interest are split fairly accurately 90% physical due to the level of distrust I have in the system and 10% in two miners one actual UML and one involved in a sovereign risk entanglement in Indonesia IAU. Hopefully IAU’s latest tactic of taking on an influential local partner will ensure that greed wins out in the end.

I have watched closely CCU for a possible silver play but decided as the actual physical metal remains at a historically low price just buying more physical seems a lower risk for me. A great company though just the same.

Just to clarify my own position in estimating the number of years I can expect to remain active on this planet my physical holdings are I feel less risky, if I do well with the shares well that’s just cream.
