I would like to think it’s very rosy, JTA. That’s why I’m invested.
Equally, the reason I’ve been invested for the past few years is because every time I bought more, I thought the following six months had a rosy outlook as well.
I was wrong, you were wrong, Attitudes was wrong and everybody who has ramped the hell out of this thing for the past few years has been wrong.
There are some here who take off Glyn’s sandals and bathe his feet in rose petals and lavender oil. The company hasn’t been straight with us many times. What is to say there are plenty of things about which we are not aware where the company is not forthcoming - including everybody’s expectations?
The truth is, nobody knows. I don’t profess to know for sure, but those telling everybody else to buy buy BUY for the past three years also don’t know - yet state blue skies with such fortitude - like a broken record.
I have plenty of skin in this game but will not merely sweet talk for good PR.
I don’t think razors will ever happen, not merely sidelined - I don’t think our tech is conducive to razor improvements and I suspect P&G thinks the same thing.
I think surface hygiene shows promise, that our technology is very much suited, and remain hopeful.
I had thought drop-in tech on analgesic gel was a lock - that has been sidelined too. Why?
Few here ever ask, “WHY?” It’s great to focus on the positives, but it shouldn’t be at the expense of being grounded in reality.
I place enormous faith in Bodyguard and if that seriously gets off the ground, I believe we will be a dividend paying stock through not only much higher percentages but more of an ability to control our own fate. So - If that ever does get off the ground, how much will it cost us? What will the share price be when they try to raise capital? To what extent will my shares be diluted further? I cannot see stock being on the shelves within the next two years, which is two more years of wondering. What evidence do I have to make such a claim? None - only relentless precedent. That’s how this company rolls.
Are Magnemasks and magnetic boosters seasonal? Do P&G have plans to stock them for weeks, months or years? Nobody knows the answer to that beyond P&G - or perhaps our BOD who were selling shares three years ago when we were buying them.
Of all the potential applications of our technology, we have had facial moisturisers in market for the past three years - no other application - and the money has not been fantastic. How did we possibly do a deal where we only get money for our specific tech, no slice of the repeat purchases from customers who use P&G’s creams because of our tech? Sounds like a pretty finite income to me.
I could go on and on. I won’t. I am heavily invested in this company, which means I genuinely do believe in its long-term future. If I did not, I would sell out. But my brain starts to bleed every time I see the pom-poms come out. So far, frankly, there is just not enough evidence to justify that.
