Morning all. I too am a quiet observer on the mnc forum but with an announcement pending I'm very interested in the information it will contain. I understand we don't have long to wait now but i was wondering if anyone has any reasonable estimates as to how many shares they think barrick will recieve?
ASSUMING TKG'S 25.4% OF HAMPTON IS WORTH THE SAME AS BARRICK'S 51% OF CERTAIN LOS CALATOS TENEMENTS, i estimate barrick to recieve approx 200 million shares.
A quick refresher on the tkg transaction. TKG recieved 195 million in shares and $3.35 million in cash, a deal worth $60 million.
Naturally, if takoradi's 25.4% of hampton is worth LESS than barrick's 51% of certain los calatos tenements then i would expect to see barrick recieve more than 200 million shares and vice versa.
Anyways, just something to ponder over the next day or so when all will be revealed.
how much to buy out barrick?
