The unrealised part of the business with real commercial potential, is the Dry Cathode technology, sometimes seen as beakers on a bench. I compare to another Canadian, Nano One who a month ago signed a JD partnership with Japanese behemoth Sumitomo. Nano One is further along than this company, with patented One Pot cathode production method, whom, similarly simplify the production process, saving cost and waste, however is still a CSTR Slurry, and although saves on water is not comparable to the completely dry process of DPMG.

DPMG however is still patent pending, I can’t find any info on where this is currently up to? If anyone has an update, would be great to see.
I believe Dahn was being honest when recently interviewed, he predicted Nvx Zero Waste process was “going to be big”
I haven’t come across any commercial pilot stage cathode synthesis, that is completely dry other than this.
So interest would be be genuine, companies such as Sumitomo, whom not only see a greener process but real energy and ultimately cost savings would be watching.
