With the bail out of GM and Chrysler being knocked back by the US Senate it could be quite ugly tonight:
“I dread looking at Wall Street tomorrow,” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said on the Senate floor in Washington last night. “It’s not going to be a pleasant sight.” At http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aTNPvMt8UJ9k&refer=home
Dow futures are currently only 270 points down, but it will not surprise me if the action heats up closer to opening time (in a little less than 3 hours.)
So my guess is that at some stage tonight the Dow will be down 450 points. Any other guesses?
