So taking this scenario further .. can the 2 productive mines (out of the 5)and say 2 mill oz of productive resource (the productive 2 mill oz part of the total 5 mill resource)carry the rest of this operation ?

A $1.5 bill debt looming .. and with only 2 mill oz of the 5 mill oz resource to carry the load.

i think the wheels of this theoretical operation would likely fall off.

just a scenario .. but it can be applied to a lot of emerging companies that are producing and seemingly looking good but in reality are already in debt with much more debt looming - and the only sure thing is they will just keep giving their gold resources away - there may be no way out of this hole.
