They want to hold it back for as long as possible. This way they don't have to fund the $$ for too long (ie; more than a day or two) to get the $ hit on the ann.

Why buy at .54 today and wait 10 days for ann making no profit while you wait when you can have a sell order sit there and restrict the sp movement for 10days (at no cost) just to buy up the day before the ann and get your 20% overnight??

These guys are trading a few hundred grand on one ann, that's alot of coin that can be played elsewhere until the ann comes and still maximise your profit.

They still hold a bulk lot of shares to manipulate with, but the last few times even the 500/700k orders have been chomped out one line at a time before a good ann, leaving them (traders) high and dry.

A few cents makes a BIG diff...
