how often does a gdn come around

Just wondering how often these sort of events come along? I used to be in the share market years ago but there weren't really any forums around then to 'pump up' or talk about hot stocks.

Would also like to know why there arent more GDNs around and why hasn't this so-called goldmine been tapped before?

Also is it rare for Aussie companies to be mining in other countries? I always sorta assumed people stuck to their own land?
