    But seriously if you're having trouble getting a bit of torque on the screwdriver it's usually because you're in a tight spot, difficult access etc etc. so one of the best ways to alleviate this is to get a small (4" or 6") visegrips and lock it onto the screwdriver shaft or handle (wherever it's most accessible) and as long as you can get enough pressure onto the head of the screw you should be able to get the job done.
    Sometimes it's even worthwhile to lock the visegrips onto the head of the screw itself and forget the screwdriver altogether.
