Blame everything and anything or TELL THE TRUTH. They are the options. The truth is that some kids find reading, writing and comprehending an enormous struggle and achieve very little.

Indeed, after 12 years of schooling, the fact that this kid is never going to progress in literary skills is so patently evident, that it is just ridiculous to BLAME THE SYSTEM. Teacher after teacher has tried remedies, but to no avail.

I'd prefer HONESTY. As in, IT CANNOT BE DONE. These kids involved know it as well. They are utterly sick of being the centre of attention by their teachers and become very miserable. I hate to see that.

I know one who became a Pastry Cook, and a very good one at that. Close to illiterate and her mum certainly doesn't blame the system, the teachers, and the Literary Magic Fairy not doing her job. She knew it couldn't be done. Such kids can still get employed, turn up to work on time and become very good citizens. BUT WE NEED TRUTH, NOT PRETENCE.

I think teachers are restricted by too much by regulation.

If in Beau's case , once they knew he was having trouble learning , then utilising a cattle prod

would have quickened the process. The kid just needed a little prodding. Lol
