Noellyn, the shareprice does not even closely reflect MPO's current 2P reserves and there is certainly no speculative margin in the current price regarding likely near term reserve upgrades . The volume has been low and has been able to conjure a perception of exodus in some traders minds . It is an anomoly that invariably will be looked back upon by some with the old adage ringing in their ears "buy in gloom........"
MPO is a stock on the cusp of growth . The new technical management are freely admitted by the MD as the crucial link that will transform MPO from a holder of mass reserves into a producer of mass commodity . The process is happening now at Mungi, Gloucester, Clarence/Moreton, China, and South Africa . How many speccies can people honestly compare to MPO's spread of projects currently . 18.5 cents lol . The Mungi 50% at current 2P reserves is worth over 30 cents per share at a conservative gas price . Baillieu 45 cent per share value now is not using upper end analysis .
"Takeover is only a threat whilst the price is low" .
