I'm not sure how much KAR will profit from the gas shortage, but it's pretty major in Europe.
The greenies have been forcing the retirement of fossil fuelled power stations and now the chickens have come home to roost in the UK and Europe.
Low supplies in European supplier, Russia, after a cold winter.
EU storage 60% of capacity.
Gas storage 7.6% below average in the USA.
Hurricanes in the USA interrupting gas supplies in the southern states and 2 months of the hurricane season to go.
A fire at the interconnecter power cable from France to the UK.
Asian demand is up.
A fire at a gas supply facility in Siberia.
Lowest average wind speeds in the UK since 1961 = no windmill power.
Winter on the way.
Drought in Brazil means they've been importing gas for power.
Supply-side technical issues in several countries, maintenance etc.
