My biggest gripe is that the whole induction is about ways to sack you - how can you have any sort of productivity if you're looking over your shoulder the whole time wondering if someone is going to snitch on you for not wearing the correct gloves? I got chased off site by the project manager on my last job for doing a 17hr nightshift - we had half an hour left to complete the last flange on a shut down so they could re-start the plant, but it took them another 3 hours by the time I closed the permit and they re-issued it to another person on days. Just let us do our job and this economy would be humming.
