Yet David Speers also interrupted Morrison repeatedly during his interview5 weeks ago. How did you feel about that? Journalists are supposed to chase down answers and to dig deep into responses... or do you prefer that all politicians should get away with not having to answer questions? Morrison was evasive and tried to distract from the issues that were raised. He was successful in evading the questions on economic stimulus - the key issue - and Sales did an appalling job by engaging in what deteriorated into an argument. So Sales Failed. Morrison, I think, enjoyed getting off the subject of economic stimulus and interrupted Sales too. If you accuse Sales of rudeness, you have to apply the same measure to Morrison. More to the point was that Morrison did the interview thinking he could just sit back and delivery rhetorical answers without giving anything meaningful. This was Sales biggest failing - she did not succeed in getting Morrison to answer questions to the satisfaction of viewers. We all need proper answers to important questions. Would your opinion of Sales be different if she was interviewing Albanese in the same manner, as she has done in the past? Scott.

Hi STR I take your point and do agree that straight answers by any politician are appreciated by all but rarely ever happen, I also note over the years that Sales never interviews a Labour or Greens Politician like she interviews a Liberal politician, The mean person in Leigh Sales always shows up for the occasion and i am not the only one to notice, Cattledog101
