. The World has just broken the record for the hottest day since records have been maintained - for two days running and still counting! . We've just experienced twelve consecutive months of historically record high monthly temperatures - that's unprecedented but matches predictions made by reputable scientists decades ago. It maybe flagging that the mooted 'tipping point' has already been crossed. . The UN has declared that the lives / welfare of roughly 85% of people living below 40' of latitude are already threatened by global warming / climate change - it's pleading with wealthy countries to assist! . Even as I type this post a super typhoon which ripped through the Philippines and then Taiwan is now tearing across mainland China. . Major fires are running out of control throughout Canada and the West Coast of the USA. . The Russians are grinning from ear to ear as ice-free sea lanes become available in Arctic latitudes.
