No matter, the real issue regarding China is their free pass on emissions caps arguing that developing nations shouldn't be subject to the same caps as others until they pull their nation out of poverty...around 2030. Hence their massive increase in coal usage. This is why Trump pulled out of the Paris accord and rightly so.

Also worth noting China's developing nation claim hardly squares with the fact they currently have a rover on Mars.
