Would any of us have predicted the enormous property boom of late?
LIfe is increasingly hard to predict due the constant shifting of goalposts - sometimes unnecessarily so.
At last some of us lived through the good years where freedom and liberty was part of our general will, and please remember that.
Looking in, I feel many on this forum appear to be more concerned about social policy other than anything else.
At least you were there, like me, - even nostalgically.

I believe population growth got us in the end and will remain an eyesore for the rest of the century, perhaps much longer.
Must be said but I believe we are generally damn hopeless about politics and leadership.
Seems to be a common trait in developed countries.
