    guttedsquid/others: Rightly or wrongly, I do believe that it was ITC's doing to "string out" the time-frames involved in order to encourage competing (i.e. better) take-over offer(s)... Of course, I might be wrong and my thinking might just be "wishful"....
    I still would expect that VPE does WANT TO control the whole "oil fairway" by themselves. Also, a test case for their new management, I feel.
