    There's the error right there. That's not the case.

    Low sensitivity indicates a weak response and lower equilibrium change in response to a forcing, warming or cooling.

    But first you have to determine if the net forcing is warming or cooling.

    Which is exactly what those papers did (and their predecessors) in assessing we aren't going into an ice age for the next 100,000 years, or more.
