    I can understand your disbelief.

    I bought 200,000 FXL in 2008 at 26 cents. Sold half of them at 60 cents or so within a year or two.
    The remainder have provided a dividend twice a year, every year, since.

    From memory, in some years the dividends, fully franked, were in excess of 15 cents. The share price got up to about four dollars and down to about a dollar twenty and various amounts in between in the interim.
    Its now at $2.20 and likely to head back to $3.00 or so (or more) in my opinion.

    Sure I could have sold it at its zenith, paid the tax, and looked to replace it with something similar. But its one of several that pay me 'bread and butter' money every year that I can depend on whilst I find other candidates that provide income or capital gains.

    So I'm inclined to continue to let it run as it hasn't owed me anything for quite a long time (and I guess I owe it plenty !).

    Just saying. I've heard FXL being bagged on and off by people over the last decade. I suppose it all depends on what price you got in at as to whether you are happy to continue to hold or not.

    Personally I'll be sticking to it.
