You may be right that it could be indiscriminate in some cases, especially if say the family was against the actions of one of their members.
I am not saying that Israel has made the best choice in using this method, but it's a really tough one.
I was visiting there a couple of years ago on a business trip and a bomb went off in earshot from me in down town Tel Aviv shopping centre. People were thinking twice whether they really should go for a night out if it wasn't necessary. Everyone seems to have afriend or relative who were murdered or seriously injured.
So what should Israel do?
What I am saying is I can't stand seeing the unfairness when the victim is turned into the perpetrator. Could perhaps the Palestinians take some responsibility for the situation they find themselves in?
Anyway, that's how I see it as reality. And I know that others will see it differently.
