    Yea Allan but until PAS had most of its debt removed, old hedging contracts ran out and the Banks did wait until the current mineral boom before relisting it. … It was well stuffed!

    If you had listened to the management briefings and stock market advisements at the time you got the strong impression that while things may have been a bit difficult it was ok and they had a plan to work through the short term difficulty.

    Few weeks later senior management seemed to all take holidays in Bermuda (slight exaggeration) and the Banks were in charge.

    ION was paying dividends and building factories one day and pretty much the next delisted with the banks and creditors selling assets.

    So when ASIC can apply the same foresight and standards to Australian companies as you’re expecting from politicians I might see your point of view.
