    Could somebody explain the purpose of the 50% and 75% requirements. Never really understood it from the start.

    Todays poll according to RNS is 94% = 247 million votes, 4 % = 12 million

    Total shares in issue is over 700 million I think. Therefore todays vote is only 37% of total shares in issue. Am I correct on above
