From the amount of attention given to mining recently you could be forgiven for thinking that mines are engulfing NSW.  However the reality is that mining only accounts for 0.1% of NSW Land.


Makes you feel even more let down by the State Govt.  They have ruined Mel and all its 5000 mum and dad investors. Justice won't be done till they support Mel all the way  and resume drilling.  To buy back Mels Pels is a failure.  They need to work together with all stakeholders so that there is a win win situation for all.  Farmers to be compensated fairly for land access.  And communities will benefit with jobs etc. And the State Govt will benefit by collecting taxes, which will fix badly needed roads and infrastructure in rural towns.  

Science and facts must come first.  The Greens have already caused a lot of damage with their anti-CSG smear campaign. Mel drilled over 50 wells in the NR for period of 10 years, and only when The Greens/LTG successful campaign started with their propaganda did the residents turn on Mel, which led to Mels unlawful suspension by the State Govt.
