So even if one is going to die from getting shot, which is extremely unlikely to begin with, even then, it is still extremely unlikely to be at the hands of police.

By any reasonable measure, the claim that African Americans are so afraid of death at the hands of police that they're scared of going shopping, is grounded in irrationality and hysteria.
