The greatest demographic common denominator of police shooting victims is that they are male. Almost universally.
And yet we never hypothesise that there is systematic anti-male sexism within the police force?
And yet when something like 20% (admittedly disproportionate, but still very much a minority) of shooting victims are black, we take this as irrefutable evidence of systemic racism.
