I do not want to argue or quibble over minor details with you but please remember that Board members and executives obtain their shares on preferential terms i.e.
FREE or low exercise price options. Whilst the ordinary shareholder buys their shares on market with their own hard earned post tax $$$. So the exposure of the Board members and execs is not the same as that of ordinary shareholders.
I am a firm believer in aligning the financial interests of the executive management team with that of shareholders.
But let them buy shares on market like everyone with their post tax $$$. No special deals.
