I like to be able to borrow money without being responsible for the repayment. According to my calculations each CNP share carries approximately $4.142 of associated debt, so with my ownership of 2.5 million shares I have effectively borrowed over $10.355 million from lending institutions with my total liability being the cost of my shares. Its nice to acquire that amount of borrowings without going near a bank. I wonder how many shareholders have related their CNP shareholding to how much debt is associated with their holding. A shareholder with 100,000 CNP ($22,500 cost) has effectively a debt of $414,200 against the assets they own.
Hope to post in next 10 minutes on another tax loss situation, refer my favourites for post.
