I get percentages and yes it is the same but is it worth the time researching a stock etc, paying brokerage buy and sell for such a small holding, for me its not.
i started young while at uni, initialy gearing into only one or two holdings so i could trade out and take a profit(hopefully), each time i made a profit i would add some savings and buy a core holding, and then continue to trade, i have not really changed that much, but have toned the gearing down over last 3 years, still use on the trading side
