    Hi Midas, You multiply the number of shares in each parcel by the price you paid per share for each parcel. Then add these figures together to give you a total cost. This is then divided by the total number of shares, to give the average. Exactly the same as what raks has said, I've just realised. I'm still a bit dull from all the Christmas celebrations I think.
