Hi,
So i've got a pretty spreadsheet for my normal trades, but im terms of if I chose to short a stock, how would I work out my gain/loss ?
Assume I decided to short 100 BHP at say 38.00, I sell them, so I receive 3800
then I buy them back at that price, which costs me 38.00
I'm not sure how I actually manage to make money from there?
(except of course selling them again when they go up a little)
