And the population of that land describe themselves as the "land of the free" or something silly like that. Their trouble is that their constitution has been hijacked, a very clever interlocking system creates endless fear and the sheeple are collectively powerless to do anything except watch more bad news on telly and try to consume while at the same time getting shorn of their ever dwindling net worth.
In a few decades this will be a fascinating history subject that I am sure many will study.
But I do wonder what the end-game is of this particular place.
On a wider view I don't think there is a future for the human race; we thoroughly deserve to become extinct or almost extinct before we destroy the planet. 2012 some say is when it may start to happen.........
