Agree. And quality is a word greatly overused, especially when it comes to microcaps.
Think of the best three microcap (<$20-30m EV) investors you know on HC. Have they made their money from being talented at picking businesses that transform from startups to successful, self-funding businesses? Or from understanding how the game works and which stocks have the right combination of: marketable story, right thematic and maybe right mgmt, backers? They also know the percentages are stacked way against them, so take profits on winners.
