I asked this same question last week so seeing someone helped me I would like to help you.
Once you buy you will get a form in the mail to execute when you are ready prior to expiration. Usually takes 1-2 weeks to become a full ordinary share. You can also get the form from Pens share registry company.
Both penoa and penoc cost 3c to excercise. Hope this helps you.
