The US may not be perfect but over the past century when the ledger is balanced they are overwhelmingly a force for good. There was immense sacrifice in both Europe and the Pacific, without their presence Communism and Fascism would have prevailed.
Deliberate acts of terror on civilian populations can never be justified no matter how much some would spin the wrongs the US has committed.
