how to find small specs

Buy a large spec and wait :)

I think you will find that most posts are on small cap stocks with lots of promise and some with little substance.

My out and out stock pick for 2010 is still PEK.

Micro cap of $17m and tightly held. Rather than repeat everything hear again it may pay if interested to review the PEK threads and also review the last couple of Investor presentations. We are going to have a very busy 2010 with multiple potential company making projects.

My personal preference is to stay away from pennys with more than 300 million shares on issue as they will often need cash and further dilution is inevitable. So unless the 1 and 2c stocks are tightly held they may be good for a trade but more risky for longer term appreciation. Depends I guess whether you are looking at a short term trade or the true potential multi bagger.

There is no easy way to find them except research and like I said HC is a great source.
