Perhaps keep also an eye out for wildcat wells in the oil and gas sector, where conceptual targets are sometimes released before the drilling programme begins which then agitate and excite the blue sky daytraders which in turn increases the share price well beyond any reality, providing the opportunity to sell on news or just before spudding, depending on the depth and business plan, for a tidy sum.
These types are very, very rarely successful but will always tempt the dreamers. Mind you, we're about due for a gusher.
