I didn't have time to finish my alterations, so will add a little more. I soaked the dry chive leaves, before adding them to the pot.
The Tasman sea salt was added at the beginning following advice by Justis who would know best. I have now added the slowly cooked onion to the pot, and also a potato cut into small cubes. It will all take approximately five hours more to cook, on low setting.
Far easier to touch type on desk top computer than on the phone. Anyway, thanks for the inspiration for this meal guys.
