"Bad evidence" is a bit too broad a categorisation.
Had there been any issues with the Trump Group taxes then the IRS would have acted. As I recall, the main thrust of the push to see the returns was to look at the funding sources, ie follow up on the various public revelations made by Don Jr & Eric.
You say that you are "NOT Trump supporter" & you are clearly not an Obama supporter either.
