Two new publications released yesterday both describing the utility of PBT2 as an antibiotic potentiator molecule for the treatment of pulmonary bacterial infection. Both of these papers are in reputable high-impact factor journals. Google:
1) Rescuing tetracycline class antibiotics for the treatment of multi-drug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii pulmonary infection. (open access)
2) Dysregulation of Streptococcus pneumoniae zinc homeostasis breaks ampicillin resistance in a pneumonia infection model (Behind a pay-wall)
